SADDLE UP for ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL -
Let's have some fun raising money
for St. Jude Hospital. Option #1- Get your neighbors,
friends, family members, partners, co-workers and employers to dig
deep and donate as "sponsors". Their flat rate donation
or "per mile" pledge will benefit the hospital. Option
#2 - Your $25.00 entry fee will get you a hand in our poker
run and give you a chance to put some cash in your pocket. This is
the way it works: The entire entry fee goes into the pot. Five
cards are dealt to each player, one each at five different
locations along the trail. Upon completion of the ride, the best
five card poker hand wins 25% of the pot, the balance goes to St.
Jude Children's Research Hospital. The size of the pot will of
course depend on the number of entrants. The best hand will be
revealed at a free, 7pm chicken BBQ in Fort Valley Stable's
pavilion. In the event of a tie, the 25% will be split between the
winners.
Sorry, sponsor donations cannot be
accepted as poker run entry fees. You can choose option #1, option
#2 or you can participate in both fund raising activities.
Fundraising participants are not required
to spend the night at Fort Valley Stable but we would be happy to
accommodate you at regular camping rates.
